mitmproxy software package provides SSL-capable man-in-the-middle HTTP proxy, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mitmproxy
mitmproxy is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mitmproxy package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mitmproxy *
You will get with mitmproxy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
